In the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, the Lodge stands as a sanctuary - a place where we step away from the noise of the world to focus on self-improvement, brotherhood, and the timeless truths of our Craft. At the heart of this refuge sits our Lodge library, a space dedicated to quiet reflection, deep conversations, and the continuous search for Masonic light.
A library is far more than just shelves and ink; it is a living room for the mind. Our vision is to cultivate a warm, cozy environment where brothers can arrive early before a stated meeting to read, relax, or engage in those spontaneous, late-night philosophical discussions that forge lifelong bonds. It is a space designed for looking inward and sharing outward.
Fueling the Flame: A Generous Gift
For a library to truly thrive, it needs the care and attention of the brethren. We are incredibly fortunate to see this space growing beautifully, thanks in large part to the generosity within our own ranks.
Recently, Worshipful Brother Aaron Taylor made a substantial donation of Masonic books from his personal collection to our shelves (the entire top row of books). We extend our sincerest fraternal thanks to WB Taylor for this wonderful contribution. His gift instantly adds depth to our collective resource pool, offering all of us new avenues of history, philosophy, and education to explore.
WB Taylor’s generosity serves as a beautiful reminder of how a library grows—one shared book at a time. If you have a volume or two at home that has enlightened your own Masonic journey, we encourage you to consider donating them to the Lodge. By passing a book along, you ensure that the light which guided you is there to guide the next generation of brothers.

Friendly Guidelines for Borrowing
To keep this shared resource vibrant and accessible to everyone, we treat our library with a spirit of fraternal courtesy rather than rigid rules. We just ask that brothers follow a few simple, brotherly suggestions when taking books home:
- The Golden Rule: Please handle these volumes with care, aiming to return them in the same good condition you found them so the next brother can enjoy a clean reading experience.
- A Monthly Rotation: As a courtesy to others who might be waiting, we suggest aiming to return your borrowed books within about a month. If you need a little extra time to finish a deep study, just let us know!
- The Sign-Out Notebook: Before you head out with a book, please just jot your name and the title down in the notebook on the table so we can keep track of where our treasures are traveling.
Creating a Space for Reflection and Fellowship
Our ultimate vision for the library extends beyond the bookshelves. We want this area to be a true sanctuary within our Lodge—a cozy, welcoming space dedicated to reading, meaningful conversations, and quiet reflection.
In a fast-paced world, our Lodge should be a refuge. We invite you to arrive early before meetings, or linger a little longer afterward, to sit back, dive into a book, or engage in those deep, late-night Masonic discussions that forge lifelong bonds. Let us keep this library alive, vibrant, and at the heart of our fraternal experience.
Next time you are at the Lodge, step inside, pull up a chair, and take a moment to enjoy the incredible gift Worshipful Brother Taylor and others have shared with us all.
