On May 31, Brethren from Porter Lodge No. 137 proudly participated in the Second McKinley Lodge No. 712 Golf Outing. The event brought together Masons, friends, sponsors, and supporters for a day of fellowship, friendly competition, and support of Masonic activities.
Golf outings such as these provide an excellent opportunity to strengthen the bonds of Brotherhood beyond the Lodge room while enjoying fellowship in a relaxed setting. Porter Lodge was pleased to be represented and to support the efforts of our Brothers at McKinley Lodge.
Following the event, Worshipful Brother Doug Barnes shared the following message of appreciation:
"A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who made our Second McKinley Lodge #712 Golf Outing a success!
To our sponsors, our golfers, and the outstanding staff at Scherwood Golf, your support and hard work made the day run smoothly from start to finish.
A special thank-you to my co-chairs — Denis Goulet, Bob Brunner, and Gerald Hancock — for your dedication and leadership throughout the planning and execution of this event.
And to the officers of McKinley Lodge #712 who came out to help today: your commitment to the lodge and willingness to step up whenever needed is truly appreciated. You helped make the day what it was. We’re grateful for everyone who contributed to this year’s outing.
Mark your calendars — next year’s outing will be June 5!"
WB Doug Barnes
Congratulations to McKinley Lodge No. 712 on another successful outing. We thank them for their hospitality and look forward to supporting this event again next year.
